Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The rooms were not the best; they were old, uncomfortable, and poorly located next to the elevator, causing a restless night. However, the atmosphere was relaxing with a great buffet breakfast and an excellent location for exploring south Calgary. There were some cleanliness issues with a strong cat urine smell and a wet patch on the carpet. On the bright side, the breakfast was awesome, and the pool was great while offering good value for the price paid.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, but unfortunately, the constant noise from a nearby heater or furnace room was quite bothersome. The service was mostly friendly and accommodating, although one staff member was a bit abrupt during check-in. The location was convenient for our stay in south Calgary but could have been cleaner. The dining options were average, with some pushy staff. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I initially had was old, the beds were uncomfortable, and the noise from the elevator kept me up all night. Plus, the lack of bottled water and the vending machine only taking coins was a hassle. On the bright side, I was upgraded to a very comfortable room with nice bedding and plenty of pillows. The location was good, with convenient onsite dining options, a quiet atmosphere, and great value for the money.
The hotel had some positives like a convenient location and accommodating service, but it could use some upgrades in rooms and dining options. The warm room made it a bit uncomfortable. The urban surroundings might not feel very secure, although it worked well for our activities in South Calgary.
The hotel is quite small with two queen beds and a small bathroom but nice and quiet despite the nearby busy road. The rooms might be considered pretty small for the price, a bit dated but clean.
The hotel is conveniently located near the RockyView Hospital on MacLeod Trail, making it a bonus I didn't expect. The rooms, though a bit dark and with a cat urine smell issue, still offer a decent stay. The service was friendly and helpful, especially after experiencing sleep disturbances. The dining cleanliness could be improved, but the pool area is lovely. Overall, a decent stay with some minor drawbacks.
Despite the old and tired rooms in need of an update, the hotel offers a nice and quiet atmosphere, with a great buffet in the morning and an excellent location in south Calgary.
